Who Moved My Cheese?
Spencer Johnson, M.D.

The Mousetrap -- A funny thing happened on the way to the critique: I encountered a line in this slight parable of advice that stopped me dead in my tracks. "What would you do if you weren't afraid?" Just as I'm flexing to pounce on this little book, there It is: an emotional mousetrap, my old friend, "Fear." Now, days later, this tale of how to cope with change is nearly forgotten -- something about two mice, I think, and two "little people," a designation, which, frankly, makes me shudder still. But the question -- "What would you do if you weren't afraid?" -- haunts me as it's haunted me all my life.
